New Year's

With Christmas and New Year's landing on weekends this year, things get a little confusing for our worship services. Please note, Christmas weekend we will have services Dec 24, at 6pm (Children's Program) and 10pm (Candlelight Service), Dec 25, at 10am (Christmas Day Worship), Dec 31, at 6pm for our New Year's Eve Service, and Jan 1, at our regularly scheduled times (8am and 10:30am) for New Year's Day Worship. We look forward to having you join us for worship.

Christmas Programs

Our school has put on a number of Christmas programs this year, 4 from our preschoolers and 2 from our K-8 students. We hope you can make it to see our Sunday School Christmas program coming up Dec 24 at 6pm. A blessed Christmas to you all!

Christmas Boxes

Once more St Paul has worked to share the joy of Christmas with as many as possible. We were blessed to share 150 Christmas Boxes with families this year. May God continue to work through this marvelous ministry!

Advent Meals

A huge thank you to our Senior High Youth Group for hosting the Advent Meals this year. It was a joy to gather as a congregation before our evening worship services to sit down and share in some good food and some wonderful fellowship.

SOS

In conjunction with SOS (Serving Our Servants) St Paul has raised a couple thousand dollars in support of Iowa COPS. SOS continues to serve our local public servants through encouraging words, meals, and friendly visits along with various other means of reaching out to these community servants.

RAGBRAI

St Paul had the joyous opportunity to serve in numorous ways as RAGBRAI came through our town. Click Here for details on how we served.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Project

St Paul Lutheran Church has teamed up with M.A.D. (Making a Difference) in Fort Dodge to bring us the "Peanut Butter and Jelly Project". Starting June 4th, we will provide 100 bags of groceries once a week (Thursdays from noon to 1:00 p.m.) for eight weeks throughout the summer to less fortunate families. We are also providing a small meal during the grocery pick up. Please join us in serving our community and sharing the blessings of our loving savior, Jesus Christ. Preparations to serve are made Wednesday afternoons starting at 1:00 p.m.

Vacation Bible School

"Shining Star" will be our theme for VBS this year. We will begin with creation, when stars were created and how they were used throughout the Bible. VBS will be June 22nd through 26th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. We will be having puppet time, crafts, Bible lessons, music, snack time, and much more. Let's shine like stars so God's love can be seen all around the world!
